Conceptual route from the home router to one bridge radio, across a clear outdoor link to a second radio, then to the office network.
Conceptual jobs, not an installation or cable-protection design.

Start with the route, not the range claim

Check the proposed mounting positions, intervening obstacles and usable power at both ends with an appropriate installer. A distance headline does not establish whether your particular route works. Trees, mounting constraints and interference can change the answer.

A current model to discuss

The Omada EAP215-Bridge KIT V3 is a 5 GHz bridge option with three Gigabit Ethernet ports per radio and documented power options. TP-Link’s September 2026 support statement lists V2/V3 through 13 May 2029; V3.20 has a different entry. Match the actual revision rather than treating the product name as one support date.

This is a source-based candidate for an installer-assessed link. We have not tested it, confirmed a UK seller package or measured a garden-office connection. It is not the older CPE510 example with 10/100 Ethernet, and Gigabit ports do not guarantee Gigabit wireless throughput.

What the complete quote should cover

JobWhat to confirm
House sideRouter connection, radio, suitable power and mounting.
Outdoor linkRoute assessment, alignment, weather protection and appropriate installation.
Office sideReceiving radio, power and a cable onward to the room network.
Desk and Wi-FiSuitable Ethernet for fixed devices or an access point positioned for indoor use.
OwnershipExact revisions, complete package, configuration, support, warranty and ongoing maintenance.

Do not assume the kit supplies every power adapter, outdoor lead or accessory needed for your site. Use the exact manufacturer instructions and a competent installer for mounting, power and cable protection. An ordinary indoor patch lead is not an outdoor route specification.

When to choose another approach

If a suitable cable route is practical, compare that first. If the radio path is blocked or power is missing, resolve the infrastructure rather than buying a bridge speculatively. Once the buildings are linked, choose only the indoor equipment the office actually needs.
