About Better Home WiFi

Better Home WiFi helps UK households work out what to investigate before spending money on broadband or networking equipment.

Who runs this site?

The site is operated by Mike Turnham trading as no bother. Better Home WiFi is a publishing brand within no bother. Contact [email protected] for editorial corrections, commercial enquiries and privacy requests. We do not provide your broadband service or remote technical support.

Our approach

Start with repeatable observations, try free fixes, then choose equipment for the actual problem. Sometimes the right next step is provider support or an installer rather than a purchase.

How we research

Guides use linked regulator and manufacturer material, alongside clearly identified editorial judgement. Product examples are desk research, not hands-on reviews. We do not invent speed measurements, star ratings, customer reviews or test results. Lifestyle scenes are AI-generated editorial illustrations. Product photos carry a manufacturer/source credit; they are not evidence of our testing.

AI and editorial limits

This site was built with AI assistance, including drafting, coding and illustrations. Sources and limitations are shown so readers can assess the advice. AI assistance is not a substitute for a qualified installation survey. Tell us if a specification or source needs correction.

Commercial independence

Our tools do not rank results by commission. Read how affiliate links work. Check the exact model, compatibility and current security support before buying.
